New Guangming District (simplified Chinese: 光明新区; traditional Chinese: 光明新區; pinyin: Guāngmíng Qū), one of seven districts in the city of Shenzhen, is situated between the neighboring city of Dongguan and Shenzhen's Bao'an District. Created in 2007, it is the city's newest district, and features new ecological technology developments.[1]
